Systems we supply & install
Cortizo Aluminium Windows & Doors in Yorkshire
Do you install Cortizo?
Yes — Windows in the Dales specifies, supplies and installs Cortizo aluminium windows and sliding doors for homes across Yorkshire. Cortizo suits contemporary homes, extensions, barn conversions and large openings where slim frames and wide glass matter. We fitted two Cortizo Cor Vision sliding doors on a York home in December 2025.
What is Cortizo?
Cortizo is a European aluminium systems manufacturer producing window, door and sliding systems. We use selected Cortizo systems, including Cor Vision sliding doors, where the opening and the design call for them.
Projects it suits
- Rear extensions and garden rooms with wide openings
- Contemporary and new-build homes
- Barn conversions with large glazed openings
- Stone houses where a dark, slim aluminium frame is wanted as a deliberate contrast
What it looks like
Slim aluminium sightlines, large glass areas and minimal interlocks on sliding doors. Frames can be finished in a wide range of colours, often dark greys and blacks against Yorkshire stone.
Performance
Thermal and weather performance depends on the exact system, glass and size. We confirm figures for your configuration at quotation rather than quoting generic numbers.
Colour and design choices
Powder-coated finishes in a broad range of RAL colours, with dual colour available on many systems. Options are confirmed at quotation.
In Yorkshire
On exposed Dales and moorland sites, we check wind exposure and drainage detail for large sliders.
In conservation areas, large aluminium openings are usually easier to justify on rear elevations than on principal street frontages.
Budget
Cortizo sliding door and aluminium window projects usually sit in the upper budget bands, particularly with large panes. See our Yorkshire cost guide for indicative project ranges.
How a project runs
Send photographs, drawings or a window schedule. We give an initial view and, where possible, a budget band. A measured survey follows, then a written specification and quotation naming the exact system, glass and colour. Our own teams install and sign off the work; areas we cover are listed on our Yorkshire areas page.
