Areas we cover
Windows & doors in Yorkshire Dales
The Dales are the centre of our work: limestone villages, gritstone farmhouses, field barns and converted agricultural buildings, often in exposed upland settings.
Much of the area falls within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which has its own planning authority and design guidance. Towns just outside the boundary, such as Skipton, are covered by North Yorkshire Council. The rules are not the same everywhere.
Do you work in Yorkshire Dales?Yes. Windows in the Dales supplies and installs aluminium, heritage steel-look and uPVC windows and doors across Yorkshire Dales, surveyed and fitted by our own Yorkshire teams.

Questions
Do you work inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park?
Yes. The National Park Authority sets planning policy inside the boundary, so we check the position for each property before specifying.
Are the planning rules the same across the Dales?
No. They depend on whether the property is inside the National Park, in a conservation area, or listed.
